Senior heavyweight Luke Fragale (27-3) placed fifth at states at heavyweight last season in addition to winning district and regional titles. Junior Doug McGraw (32-3) qualifed for states at 119 after winning a regional title and placing second at districts. Two other regional qualifiers return as well. Junior Adam Bickford won a district title at 189 while posting a 29-5 record and sophomore Jon Carlson (22-11) placed third at districts at 103. Probable lineup: Carlson at 125, McGraw at 130, 135 or 140, freshman Rick Thwing at 145, senior Curt Fuenffinger (20-13), freshman Guideon Hornung at 160, junior Seth Fragale (8-3) at 171, Adam Bickford at 189, and Luke Fragale at heavyweight. Notes: Just eight wrestlers fill out the Red Raiders' roster. To make matters worse, junior John Bickford (29-5), Adam's twin and the reigning D-9 champ at 171, suffered a knee injury during football season that will sideline for him the entire wrestling season as well.
