Freestyle Schedule

Weigh-ins:  Qualifyers - Greco:      8:00-8:30 AM.   Wrestle, 9:30 AM
                         Freestyle:  Noon- 12:30 PM  Wrestle, 1:30 PM
 
Apr 26th State College HS - restricted to PA residents only
US Kids states - Weigh-ins at stated on US Kids page.
 
Women's Division - Compete at all qualifiers and Women's States on June 20.  
Age Groups and Weights the same as men's, except open class, which also includes 
97#, 103#, 110#, and 116#.  High cut singlet and sports bra is MANDATORY apparel.  
 
Out of State competitors are welcome at all qualifiers, but only the OPEN class 
advances to States.
 
Wrestlers entering both styles need only weigh in ONCE, but must pay TWO entry fees!
USA/Wrestling card is $25.00.  Entry fee is $10.00 per tournament.
 
If you are wrestling ony freestyle, you MUST wait until Noon to weigh in.  
To compete in States, you must qualify at one of the above qualifiers.

Red & Blue reversible singlets are MANDATORY at the State tournament.
 
You may move up and down in weight at States from your qualifying weight.  Your
weight at States IS what you will wrestle at Nationals, however.  Athletes born
after 1989 may compete, but MUST enter the Midget division.
 
2# weight allowance at States if you weigh in Friday night.  3# if you weigh in
on Saturday.  Cadets & Juniors wrestle 7PM to finish Friday night.  Other groups
wrestle Noon to finish on Saturday.  Sat weigh-in 10-11.  Friday 4-5 @ Ramada Inn.
Either of these weigh-ins WILL count for Greco States on Sunday.
 
Greco-Roman States, Sun, June 21 - Weigh-ins 8-9 AM; 3# allowance. Wrestled @ 10AM.

Cadets - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will qualify for Nationals, FS and Greco.  2nd and 3rd
must pay a sponsor fee of $600, which includes a complete equipment bag. Champions
go free, except for $200 for equipment bag.  Meals are on-your-own.
 
HS Juniors - Champions qualify for Nationals, ALL EXPENSES PAID.  2nd and 3rd
must pay a sponsor fee of $600, which includes a complete equipment bag. Champions
go free, except for $200 for equipment bag.  Meals are on-your-own.
 
Open Division - Any member of USA/Wrestling is eligible, if they qualify.
