Curwensville 54, ACVKU 18 
KNOX - Coach Libby Hansford's A-C Valley, Keystone and Union team was
shorthanded, but the Panthers did come up with three pins in a 54-18 loss to
visiting Curwensville. 
ACVKU, forced to forfeit five weight classes, trailed 30-0 before Trevor
Miller used a cement job to register a pin at 140 pounds. Ty Williams
followed with a pin at 145 for the Panthers and Mitch Carnathan broke open
at tight bout at 171 to complete the team's scoring. 
"I was especially pleased with the way Trevor, Ty and Mitch wrestled,"
Hansford said. "(Mitch) wore his opponent out and ran him out of gas." 
ACVKU (1-6) will return to action Saturday at the Pine-Richland Tournament.
